Dick Collins Firetrails is now part of the Bay Area 100 Series
Ultrarunning'sLiving History.
Please join us at the Dick Collins Firetrails on September 26, 2026. When you step up to the start, you’re stepping into history — one that goes back to when Dick Collins himself was race director. You’re standing on the shoulders of giants: Dick, remembered on a bench near Skyline Gate, Ann Trason, another former race director who still holds the course record and the thousands of runners who have started Firetrails in all its years.
Dick Collins Firetrails has 3 events: 100K, 50-Mile, and Marathon. All races are UTMB Index events. The 50-mile race is part of the Pacific USATF Grand Prix.
The Races
This year, we will return to the OG Course. This means a fast race out to Lone Oak and back. There are a few tiny changes from the classic course but not many.
All 2027 Athlete Guides including routes pace charts, and GPX’s are here.
